Fulbright University Vietnam, USA — Brand Strategist & Global Partnerships, 2021-2023
Consulted with the founding board of Fulbright University Vietnam, leveraging in-person events and social media marketing to connect the U.S. community to Vietnam. The mission was to raise funds, garner insights, and increase awareness about Vietnam's first liberal arts university.
A Proud Achievement: In 2023, partalongside Adam Steinberg and Dr. Tam Nguyen, I orchestrated the establishment of a landmark academic partnership between Fulbright University Vietnam and California State University, Fullerton (CSUF). By initiating discussions with CSUF board members and facilitating dialogues at Fulbright, we achieved the signing of a Letter of Intent. This collaboration focuses on student and faculty exchanges, joint research, and educational innovation, showcasing our mutual commitment to enriching educational opportunities. This partnership not only underscores my dedication to strengthening US-Vietnam educational connections but also stands as my proudest achievement as a Vietnamese-American, deeply committed to enhancing cross-cultural educational opportunities.

Unilever's Knorr, AAPI Target Market
As the Director of Editorial & Influencer Marketing for Knorr under Mikado International, I lead a robust team dedicated to amplifying Unilever's digital footprint across the US and Canada, focusing on Knorr's Asian product lines. Since stepping into this role, I have spearheaded initiatives that significantly increased social media engagement—from 0.08% to 3% within just the first three months of our partnership. My strategic direction and management have not only grown but continuously energize a team of skilled social media marketers and influencers, driving compelling and engaging content that boosts brand visibility and consumer interaction.
A-Sha Foods USA - Chief Strategist 2022 - 2023
As the Lead Digital Strategist for A-Sha Foods USA, I directed a comprehensive brand refresh that encompassed social media strategy, packaging redesign, and visual content creation. My leadership in assembling and guiding a dedicated social media team was pivotal in amplifying our brand's digital presence. This holistic approach not only enhanced our online engagement but also improved our product visibility on major retail shelves, including a strategic overhaul of our packaging and the production of high-impact visual content through targeted photoshoots.

Twyster - Head of Brand 2019 - 2021
As the Head of Brand at Twyster from 2019 to 2021, I spearheaded the design and development of both the UI and UX for the startup's mobile app. Leading a diverse team—including designers, consumer researchers, and digital media teams—I strategically prepared the app for market launch. My efforts contributed to acquiring 2,000 users by the launch date, leveraging influencer marketing to target a hyper-niche community. After significantly advancing the app's market readiness, I successfully transitioned the project back to the founders within a 2-year tenure.
Tay Ho - Head of Brand 2020-2021
As the Head of Brand at Tay Ho, I was recruited to elevate a beloved mom-and-pop Vietnamese restaurant for broader market appeal. My role focused on developing a cohesive brand identity tailored for scaling and franchising. Through strategic rebranding, packaging design, and retail adjustments, alongside enhanced communications and social media strategies, I successfully positioned Tay Ho to expand its brand presence into the mass market.

As the Chief Brand Strategist and Co-Producer of The Vietnamese Podcast alongside Kenneth Nguyen, I spearheaded the development and multi-platform launch of the podcast in the midst of a pandemic. Our goal was to forge connections among Vietnamese communities globally, engaging diverse audiences across different generations and regions. Through strategic brand development, impactful social media campaigns, and robust event and sponsorship initiatives, we rapidly expanded our reach. Within three years, The Vietnamese Podcast has attracted over 1 million listeners and built a dedicated following of 100,000+ ocross various social media platforms within one year of launch.
Mavens Creamery - Brand Strategy Director. 2019 - 2023
As the Brand Strategy Director at Mavens Creamery from 2019 to 2023, I orchestrated a comprehensive redesign of the brand's identity, product development, and packaging. My strategic direction reinvigorated the brand, positioning it as a leading hyper-niche Asian American product that consistently sells out at Costco during every restock. A key highlight was the launch of the Durian ice cream, an innovative product that not only met but surpassed market trends, establishing Mavens Creamery as a trendsetter in the industry. My efforts in brand identity, social media, and photography have significantly contributed to the brand's dynamic presence and success in the market.
Nobibi - Chief Strategist, 2022-2023
As the Chief Strategist at Nobibi, I led the development of an editorial strategy that redefined the brand’s narrative while keeping the original logo intact. This approach involved crafting compelling content and design enhancements that aligned with the existing brand identity, significantly boosting Nobibi’s appeal to potential franchise owners. The strategic use of storytelling through various media channels helped solidify the brand’s modern appeal and facilitated its successful expansion into franchising, both nationally and internationally.
